Gender equality in education
I am passionate about advancing gender equality. For five years, I led the successful Athena SWAN Silver Award application for a multidisciplinary School at the University of East Anglia (UEA), UK.
I created, nurtured and coordinated working groups composed of staff and students, resulting in substantial collaborative work on gender equality. I was proud to be the first Gender Equality Lead for the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at UEA.
Through a range of teaching projects, I have embedded United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 5: Gender Equality in my professional ethos, engaging students in plurilingual conversations about advancing the gender equality agenda.
