Internationalisation infuses all areas of my work, with decolonisation and intercultural citizenship at the very heart of my activities.
I have championed these principles through networking, training and collaboration, while simultaneously developing, growing and becoming enriched myself. I led the development of a national Manifesto for Decolonising Language Teaching on behalf of the Association of University Language Communities (AULC) in the UK and Ireland.
Passionate about languages and their potential to transcend national boundaries and inspire social change, I have designed and managed more than 20 international projects.
At the University of East Anglia, I progressed from Study Abroad leadership roles to Associate Dean International for the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, influencing policy and practice at department, faculty and university levels.
